The Director of the Center of Information Systems leads and guides the center to achieve digital transformation and develop the university’s technological infrastructure. The Director's role involves establishing the strategic vision and setting priorities to ensure the seamless integration of academic and administrative systems with Kuwait University’s institutional goals. A key focus is on effectively managing technological projects, ensuring their implementation according to the highest standards, and adhering to timelines to drive the center's success and excellence.

The Director plays a strategic role in fostering collaboration between departments and partners, ensuring system integration and contributing to improved institutional performance. The Director also ensures that the Information Systems Center applies best practices in governance and cybersecurity, safeguarding data confidentiality and enhancing the smooth and effective continuity of operations.

The Director’s responsibilities include cultivating a flexible work environment that encourages innovation, with a focus on developing human resources through the supervision of continuous training programs. Additionally, the Director is committed to steering efforts toward adopting the latest technologies to enhance the user experience and provide sustainable solutions that meet Kuwait University’s needs, supporting the achievement of its future vision.
