Department of Administrative and Financial Systems

  1. Oversee the administrative and financial systems used at Kuwait University.

  2. Implement and monitor project plans related to administrative and financial systems, following the approved methodology and timelines, while resolving obstacles to project completion.

  3. Test the applications developed for these systems to ensure they meet the required standards and fulfill user needs before delivery to the stakeholders.

  4. Manage and develop automated applications for administrative and financial systems.

  5. Analyze issues related to administrative systems to identify appropriate technical solutions.

  6. Ensure the integration of documentation within the administrative and financial document cycle.

  7. Ensure compliance with technical standards and guidelines governing administrative and financial systems.

  8. Evaluate proposed modifications to administrative systems or software to address new needs or implement new regulations or policies.

  9. Design reports related to the section's systems, utilizing software tools for planning, forecasting, testing, recruitment, training, development, rewards, and employee relations.

  10. Prepare and monitor procedures related to administrative and financial systems.

  11. Develop and refine technical procedures and methodologies for improving these systems, including the design of customized software applications.

  12. Collaborate with other departments in the Center to implement assigned projects efficiently.

  13. Conduct feasibility studies on the latest technologies, providing detailed assessments to determine product effectiveness and suitability for the university’s needs.

  14. Create project timelines that align with the Center’s overall strategic plan.

  15. Develop the section’s annual operational plan in accordance with the proposed budget and strategic plan, ensuring implementation after management approval.

  16. Contribute to the preparation of tender documents for new projects and evaluate technical proposals to select the best option.

  17. Supervise the implementation of contracts related to the section, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, and managing the payment of financial dues.

 

This department ensures smooth operation and continuous enhancement of administrative and financial systems, aligning with the university’s strategic goals to provide efficient and reliable services to stakeholders.
