About CIS
The Center of Information Systems at Kuwait University has been a fundamental and vital component of the university's structure since 1971, directly reporting to the Office of the Assistant Vice President of the University for Academic Support Services in Information Technology. This center holds strategic importance as it bears significant responsibilities in supporting and developing the educational process. It actively contributes to adopting and improving new methods to enhance education and academic research, facing challenges and offering technical solutions to improve educational performance and serve the community.
The center works to meet the university's diverse needs, including administrative, financial, and academic systems, specializing in student information and the development of related systems. It also effectively participates in implementing the university's general plans in the area of information technology usage, in addition to technically supervising the development of IT infrastructure and sustainability, all in accordance with the general policies and strategic plan of Kuwait University.
